Modular fully automatic varnishing system TLA 1-D35/XXX
The system design composed of individual modules for masking and colour-ring marking of dental burrs and similar instruments, at its highest expansion stage offers a fully automatic, unmanned operation from the feeding of the burrs to their packaging.
Below this expansion stage, depending on your demand, the different process steps may be carried out with personnel or automatically.A typical system – from pallet to contact fixture – :

With the following modules:
Pallet input unit and work piece feeding with accumulation-line storage
Pick-up of work piece from the pallet by a 6-axes bent-arm robot
Fully automatic varnishing unit
Fixture input unit and accumulation-line storage for contact fixtures
Loading of fixtures with drying unit
Push-in unit
Accumulation-line storage for loaded contact fixtures and taking-out unit
The individual modules:
1. Basic module
1.1: 6-axes bent-arm robot
1.2: Varnishing unit with varnish dosing system
with cartridges for 10 cc (standard), 30 and 55 cc
or alternatively with pressure vessel max. 500 ml
or ( for other applications) with varnish spraying system
2. Parts feeding
2.1: Manually operated pallet input unit for pallets of various sizes
2.2: Manually operated pallet input unit with accumulation-line storage, clamping unit and automatic pallets return
2.3: Docking space-saving chain-link storage for pallets, accumulation-line storage and clamping unit
2.4: Precision bowl feeder with parts singling, parts sensor and digital camera for identification and position recognition, additional frontally –mounted parts bin (optional)
3. Empty pallets or fixture input
3.1: Manually operated pallet input unit for pallets (like item 2.1)
3.2: Manually operated empty pallet input unit with active accumulation-line storage and pallets clamping unit
3.3: Manually operated input unit for contact fixtures with active accumulation-line storage and fixtures clamping unit
4. Parts processing and output
4.1: IR varnish drying unit
4.2: Accumulation-line storage for loaded pallets with taking-out unit or docking space-saving chain-link storage
4.3: Active accumulation-line storage for loaded contact fixtures with push-in unit for dried masked or colour-ring marked parts, accumulation-line storage and taking-out unit
5. Empty pallets or fixture input
5.1: Pre-disposition of packaging holders from bulk material with a precision bowl- feeder and parts bin, feed line and parts singling with a parts sensor for position recognition of the parts, alternatively with an accumulation-line storage for packaging holders – pre-disposition of parts
5.2 - Loading unit for packaging holders with robot for taking out the parts and loading into the packaging holders
5.3 - Accumulation-line storage for loaded packaging holders including magazining
Depending on the system design, the following operation modes are possible:
From pallet to pallet in single operation: modules 1.1, 1.2., 2.1
